Who Participated
Connectathons are a hands-on event that brings together implementers, developers, clinicians, and policymakers to learn, build, and showcase standards-based interoperable digital health solutions. Demonstrators/testers can also test against simulated digital public infrastructure (DPI) on DHIN's custom sandbox. While many participants join testing tracks as Demonstrators/Testers to develop, validate, and present working solutions aligned with international and national digital health standards, we also welcome Participants/Observers, non-testing participants who wish to follow the action, learn from live sessions, and engage with the community.

In 2025, a whooping 302 persons registered to participate from 40 countries, including participats from 25 African Countries. Participants were spread and varied from policy makers/regulators, standards-bodies, accademia, hospitals, developers, and much more

Please note that our Connectathons are still largely self-sponsored and will benefit from funding.
